To provide personalised software support for business owners, providing the strategies, data, and creative ideas they need to grow and succeed.
To build and maintain a hybrid business model providing UK-based client expertise while leveraging cost-effective global engineering talent to simplify complex digital challenges.
Aecor was formed to support the software development of Club Website, a startup business. Aecor helped to scale the business to over 1m users before the company was successfully acquired in 2015.
The original Aecor team consisted of just 6 developers, but the business always had ambitions to attract new clients and grow operations.
As the business grew we developed multiple applications across various technologies and industries, including the Sport, Energy, Utilities, Education, Property and Government sectors.
We moved into a brand new office which is a state-of-the-art environment for our business to grow and attract the very best talent.
Despite the challenges with the Covid pandemic we retained all our clients and grew our base further. As the team grew our focus was to develop proprietary tooling and streamline our internal processes. This has helped us scale the business more efficiently.
We now have a team of over 60 software engineers and have helped over 100 clients in Coding, UX/UI, Systems Architecture, DevOps, QA, Scrum Masters, Project Management and Business Analysis.
Our Annual Town Hall set out the priorities for 2025 including increasing the UK team, growing our strategic partnerships, and expanding in the US.
We treat your project as if it’s our own, investing considerable time at the start of the project setting clear expectations and measures of success. That way, we can be confident on delivering on everyone’s expectations.
Openness and honesty are the key to any successful project and relationship. We give our clients access to all our portals, including such as Assembla/Jira (to view the status of every task), Slack (for real-time communication), and daily/weekly stand-ups should they wish.
While we love to celebrate success, we are driven by innovation. Whether that’s new processes, new technologies or new ideas it’s in our culture to always strive for more.
Together, the Aecor leadership team has decades of experience across consultancies, startups, corporates and tech businesses.
